Enthusiasm meets Experience.Thats how we think of ourselves. SurreyMustang.com was started because we genuinely love Mustangs. We own Mustangs and drive them daily. Infact within the company, there are 4. The founders Trevor Kitney, Nick Cordell and Paul Cohen are all petrol heads. We talk, eat and sleep performance cars. Trev runs an assortment of Ford metal from the humble family Fiesta ST to the awesome 9.1 litre RS2000 drag car he's been racing and improving over the last few years. Nick's '05 GT Coupe (and our test car we'll admit) gets thrashed every day, rain or shine, and is probably one of the highest milers in the country. Still going strong and looking good. Paul is the traitor in the camp. His Aston lets the side down but we are always keen to remind him the company that made it was owned by Ford at the time he bought it. Various members of our families run Mustangs too and there's even a daughter named Eleanor. Its in our blood.

Anyway, thats the enthusiasm. The experience, apart from ownership, comes mainly from Chief Engineer Trevor's illustrious professional background. Starting with an appreticeship at Rolls Royce and working for restoration workshops, race teams and even a spell in an Alabama Hot Rod shop, Trev has worked with some of the major names in the motor industry:

Prodrive

Along with many other R&D projects, Trevor was responsible for design and fabrication of crash test jigs for the Dodge Viper

Omnitec

Working on OEM diagnostic equipment and software fitted to MG Rover, Land Rover etc. Trevor was part of the team that developed the Telematics system for Aston Martin

Racing

Trevor has designed, built and raced cars for Historic FIA GTS, Intermarque, Tuscan Challenge, Formula First, Slick 50 Saloons, Formula Renault, Thundersaloons, Pro-ET, Street Eliminator and more...

RaceCarbon

Trevor's company designed and manufactured carbon fibre body panels and components for many of the UK's top race cars.
